February is National Heart Health Month! As we age, doing our best to maintain a healthy heart will not only prolong life, but also enhance our quality of life and the activities we get to enjoy. Working to keep your heart strong and healthy will help minimize other ailments and symptoms of aging.

Please join Team Cypress Glen by supporting our fundraising efforts for the Alzheimer’s Association. This non-profit organization focuses its efforts to the care, support, research, awareness, and advocacy of Alzheimer’s disease. The Alzheimer’s Association works to raise money for disease research, programs and services to aid caregivers, advocacy of the effect of this disease on our family, friends, and nation. Please join our team by registering at "http://act.alz.org/goto/teamcypressglen." We will walk as a team on November 3, 2018, in New Bern, North Carolina. Transportation will be provided to and from Cypress Glen for those who want to support our team by participating in the walk.

Join us in the Auditorium on Wednesday, February 14th at 7:00 pm for our annual concert from the very talented Evan Drachman; cello, and Mary Au, piano, from the Piatigorsky Foundation! The Piatigorsky Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to make live classical music part of the fabric of everyday life for communities throughout the United States! The program will include works from Schumann, Chopin, Granados, and Rachmaninoff.
